JOY Goat Development Programme have a few groups grading up to 50% dairy blood for household milk production.

A core area for JOY Goat Development Programme. In Bukulula SC there are groups breeding 75% dairy goats and one group breeding pure Toggenburg-type dairy goats.

There was a district initiative to introduce Boer goats, but lack of access to purebred stock is currently hindering the breeding process.

Sub-Regional Committee

At the launch meeting on 3rd Dec 2016, a sub-regional planning committee was nominated. (See members) The first meeting will be held on 26th Jan 2017.

District Committees

District committees have been elected for Kalungu, Lwengo, Masaka and Rakai Districts. They have responsibility for mobilising down to village level.
